Min: Russia to make 4 mln medical masks daily by mid-April

MOSCOW, Apr 3 (PRIME) -- Russia has reached the production of 500,000 protective medical masks per day, and will make already 4 million masks daily by the middle of April, but the deficit still remains, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said late Thursday.

Demand for medical masks has increased in Russia after reports of the rapid spread of the new COVID-19 coronavirus worldwide.
